Last Friday, we had our first Senga (cutting paper) lesson connecting Germany and Japan. Senga artist Ms. Mayano showed us how to use the cutter and how to cut straight and curved line. After that we made a work for beginners (although cutting rose petals are complicated for beginners).
She repeatedly told us to take it slow, relax, and have fun. I tried to be relaxed but added a lot of cutting pressure, cutting edge stuck in the underlay pad and stopped, or I locked in cutting paper and I was silent...
I was so happy when I finally cut the outside and a rose was born! It was a very fulfilling experience.
先週金曜日は、ドイツと日本を繋いで初めての剪画レッスン。
小野寺先生からカッターの使い方から初歩的な作品（と言っても薔薇のはなびらは初心者には複雑）の作り方まで。

ゆっくりと😊リラックスして😄楽しみましょう〜🥰
と何度も声をかけてくださったのですが、
ついついカッターに力が入ってしまい、
下敷きに食い込んで動かなくなったり、
夢中になりすぎて無言になったり・・・。
それでも、最後に外側をカットして
一輪の薔薇🌹が生まれ落ちた瞬間に
ものすごく感激しました！
